Painting has been a life long pursuit for Teri Starkweather, who grew up in California and went to the Art Center College of Design. She began by painting watercolors of floral images and has expanded to paint landscapes of local beaches and places she finds on her travels.Teri has shown her artwork in various galleries throughout the United States and in Italy and China. Teri was in the Laguna Beach Festival of Art in 2015. Her work is collected throughout the United States. Teri has exhibited at the Springfield Art Museum, Westmont Museum of Art, Lancaster Museum of Art, Riverside Art Museum, Downey Museum of Art, and Brea Gallery, California. Teri had a solo show at James Gray Gallery in Bergamot Station, Santa Monica, California in 2011. Teri has also been published in art magazines and books by North Light publishers and has won many awards.

These paintings are an attempt to show the viewer the beauty of the ocean and the local coastline in Laguna Beach. They are a reminder of a beautiful moment or a fun trip to the area and bring enjoyment every time one looks at them.
