My name is Margaret Arnold.  I am a retired school teacher ( I taught mostly first grade for forty wonderful years at Top of the World Elementary School!). I began quilting in 2012.  I enjoy hand appliqué and machine piecing to make quilts for family and friends.  During these crazy quarantine times, sewing has kept me busy at home along with gardening, reading and taking walks.  I am an active member of Surfside Quilt Guild and Laguna Quilters.  My joy comes from interacting with my two young grandchildren. I hope to share my love of quilting with them someday.

Flower Garden is a hand appliqued twin sized quilt made for my granddaughter adapted from a quilt by Colette Bolt. Not for sale.

Circle Game is a machine pieced batik wall hanging adapted from a pattern by designer Judy Sisneros.
